Inspired by the monarch butterfly migration and the cultural heritage of Texas, The Monarch San Antonio was designed to create a guest experience deeply connected to its surroundings. The luxury property features 200 guestrooms, multiple dining venues, a spa, and rooftop amenities, with thoughtful design details woven throughout every space.

Partnering with Gettys Group, Kimball Hospitality helped transform that vision into a fully realized environment through custom furnishings across guest rooms and public spaces. From statement-making casegoods and seating to the reception desk, conference tables, and specialty architectural elements, nearly every guest touchpoint was tailored to support the design story.

The project demanded a high level of customization and collaboration. In the guestrooms, complex patterned headboards required detailed coordination and hands-on review to ensure each installation reflected the designer's intent. A round guestroom table, inspired by a single pottery reference image, was carefully developed through multiple finish trials to capture the character, texture, and spirit of the original concept.

Throughout the public spaces, Kimball Hospitality combined craftsmanship and problem-solving to bring ambitious concepts to life. Mobile partition screens underwent extensive testing and refinement, while specialty finishes, layered materials, fringe detailing, resin surfaces, and custom metalwork contributed texture and depth throughout the hotel.

More than a furniture package, The Monarch San Antonio represents the power of partnership. By collaborating closely with the design team from concept through production, Kimball Hospitality helped translate inspiration into a guest-ready experience that feels distinctive, refined, and unmistakably connected to place.
